To My Unsaved Friend

Dear Friend,

God exists, and He created and owns everything and everyone (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 24:1). God is good, righteous, and holy (1 Samuel 2:2) and desires and deserves to be worshiped by everyone (John 4:23-24).

However, all men and women are sinners by nature and choice and are guilty before God (Ephesians 2:1-3; Romans 3:10-18). Sin is our failure to conform to God’s standard in our nature, attitude, thoughts, speech, and actions. No person can earn salvation or a free pass into heaven by being “good enough” or doing good deeds (Ephesians 2:8-9). Apart from Christ, all persons will pay the eternal penalty for sin in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:14-15).

But God so loved the world that He sent His Son Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners from perishing (John 3:16). Jesus Christ came from heaven as both God and sinless man (Colossians 2:9). He died for our sins, was buried, and He was raised from the dead and is alive today (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). This is the Good News!

In order to be saved and forgiven of your sins, God commands you to repent of (turn away from) your sins (Acts 2:38; 17:30) and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9), including the fact that He died for your sins, was buried, and raised from the dead.

Having turned from your sins and believed in Jesus Christ, then follow Him daily in loving obedience (Luke 9:23).

My friend, will you repent and believe in Jesus Christ today?
